It is against this backdrop that the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has made security a cardinal pillar of governance in Kogi State, pursuing a comprehensive strategy aimed at protecting lives and property while fostering an environment conducive to growth and development.
Kogi State occupies a unique position in Nigeria. As the confluence state, it serves as a strategic gateway linking the North, South, East, and West. This geographical advantage, while beneficial for commerce and connectivity, also presents complex security challenges that require innovative and proactive responses. Since assuming office, Governor Ododo has demonstrated a clear understanding of this reality and has consistently prioritized measures designed to safeguard residents and visitors alike.
