Nollywood actress, Sonia Ogiri has been left heartbroken following the demise of her niece.
Taking to Instagram, the actress announced the devastating news about her 28-year-old niece, Blessing, shattered by the grief.

According to the actress, months before the tragic incident, she reached out to her niece and issued an instruction to her.
However, her niece initially complied, but eventually ignored the instruction.
In the heartfelt tribute, Sonia Ogiri disclosed that she was left speechless after receiving a phone call in the early hours with news of her niece’s death.
However, the circumstances surrounding the heartbreaking incident remains unknown.
”Blessing Months ago I called you that what I saw Spiritually I don’t like, I gave you instructions and you agreed but later my words were twisted and taken for granted.At 28 years old? Father LORD all I have to say is thank you, you gave and you have taken back.Journey well niece”, The post reads.
Ini Edo loses father
Earlier, Gistreel reported that multi-award-winning Nollywood actress, Ini Edo took to Instagram to announce the death of her father, Jonathan Ekim, on February 24, 2025. He was buried on Friday, March 21, 2025 in Akwa Ibom State.
The ceremony was held at QIC Primary School, Awa Iman, Onna LGA, and had notable Nollywood figures including Rita Dominic, IK Ogbonna, hmmm Nancy Isime, Uche Jombo, Ruth Kadiri, and Desmond Elliot in attendance.
